She currently works as a graphic designer for HALO Branded Solutions, one of the biggest merchandising companies in the industry. Within the specialized design division HBS, Kathryn works with an ever-growing selection of clients to provide creative services including idea generation, strategy, print, digital, presentation, and production work. She moves quickly from project to project within the companies and handles multiple clients at any time while successfully managing project demands and meeting deadlines.
Working with big-name brands like Pfizer, Kubota, Skechers, Dr Pepper, Wawa, and more, she keeps expanding her design sphere and perfecting effective communication through different types of teams, big and small to deliver effective designs and win RFPs.

Working within strict brand standards and compliance guidelines that financial corporations require, she has excelled at creating eye-catching and informative designs. While working in-house, she has produced motion graphic animations, social media campaigns, art directed photography on location with film crews shooting commercials, designed and laid out informative booklets, branded merchandise, promo giveaway materials, partnered with Sporting KC for in-arena promotions, created a new illustrative style for a kids focused banking venture and more. Collaborating with fellow designers, creative managers, art directors, marketing directors and CEOs, has cemented the importance of positivity, clear communication, and flexibility.

Kathryn Brown has spent five years in an ad agency managing and art directing multiple projects simultaneously and mentoring interns. She has experience working on high-paced jobs such as making and placing magazine ads with short turnarounds. She has managed a local magazine including working with ad sales reps, other design companies and writers to assure the magazine issue was perfect and sent to print on time, every month. She has worked and managed jobs from conception to print production with the Center for Real Estate - W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University for multiple years. She was the solo illustrator on the project multiple years in a row while also laying out the sixteen-page booklets. During her time with Visual Fusion Graphic Design Studio, She worked with local nonprofits, a bike-sharing installation and branding that stands to this day and made multiple motion graphic projects for Fortune 100 company VMWare.
Kathryn Brown has worked with nonprofits, technical companies, and religious institutions. In 2011, she began working for Aviator Church as the lead creative designer. While working, she was responsible for making banners, pop ups, digital signs, digital videos, social media campaigns, brochures and fundraising efforts.
Kathryn is always seeking new things to learn and broaden her creativity. From the new world of 3D modeling and 3D printing, to laser engraving and cutting, watercolor and mold making, she has a passion for creating in her professional and personal life.
